In the works
Howdy again! Ryan here,
So things have been changing quite a bit the past few weeks. For starters my wife and I have moved out of our apartment and are now staying with some friends. Committing to a new lease seemed reprehensible under our uncertain conditions, so we packed up most of our worldly goods into storage and moved the bare essentials to our friends' home. The bare essentials of course includes two computers, a laptop, dual monitors and a projector. I did pack up the scanner though.
I've sent out about 4 and a half applications to various studios, all located in "Cali". Don't worry I'll do my best not to call it that ever again. The jobs I applied for are not all on my list of potential positions but I feel I would be a good fit for any of them none the less. I have already received a few responses including one interview coming up later this week. I'm not going to include any details here, but you may feel free to ask.
My wife and I also took a short vacation last weekend to Austin. We met up with 3 other couples we know from A&M, all of whom have moved on from the College Station lifestyle. It was a decadent weekend of Rock Band, swimming, wine tasting, games, great food, and perhaps a drop of alcohol. We also spent an afternoon at Hamilton Pool. Which was quite refreshing after packing 8 passengers into an SUV for about 45 minutes before hand.
Its only a model.
