Howdy!
Howdy and welcome! My name - as you might have guessed - is Ryan Bland. I am a computer graphics programmer and artist. My passion for many years has been the design and creation of visually compelling CGI. This creative force has brought me into a variety of media including animated films, video games, web sites, and unique interactive experiences.
I plan to graduate with an M.S. in Visualization from Texas A&M University later this fall. In anticipation of this event I'm looking for work in the entertainment or computer technology industries as an FX artist, technical director, or tools developer.
This website houses some of my best work created for academic, professional and personal endeavors. It is my portfolio as well a home base for my job search. There is a lot to look at so if you don't have much time I'd recommend watching my demo reel. Its about 3 minutes long and shows work such as special effects, animations, simulations and photorealistic rendering.
